NBA YoungBoy is warning rappers not to sign to Atlantic Records.
“Don’t sign to Atlantic,” he wrote. “Trust me.”
This is his second public post about the label. He recently put Atlantic on blast, accusing them of blackballing him.
“Why black ball me I’m the good guy !!!??” he wrote. “I was going #1 two weeks straight with a mixtape so they took it down off the charts. I don’t give a f*ck you still can’t stop me don’t sign to Atlantic if you a artist they not gone support you especially if you live a certain way.”
Two other rappers, Meek Mill and PnB Rock have also trashed Atlantic Records to their fans.
Meek accused the label of stealing Roddy Ricch from him and blackballing him while PnB Rock begged to be released from his deal.
“@atlanticrecords I WANT A BUYOUT OF THIS BS ASS DEAL YALL GOT ME IN !!!” he wrote at the time. “YALL BEEN MAKIN MILLIONS OFF ME FOR YEARS HAVENT GAVE ME ONE MIL YET !!!”
